Tom Coyne to Discuss New Approaches in Retail Distribution at ProMat 2009LEWISTON, MAINE, DECEMBER 18 2008 -- Tom Coyne, CEO of Diamond Phoenix, will present a seminar on the challenges the retail distribution sector is facing today and strategies for streamlining processes to remain viable. The seminar, titled "What If You Implemented a New Approach in Your Retail Distribution Facility?" will impart possible solutions for a stressed market. Discussion will cover the significant change in the marketplace, order fulfillment processes, established and emerging technologies and how efficiency can be gained. Mr. Coyne is a recognized expert in the design/build approach to implementing automated material handling systems. Prior to his leadership role at Diamond Phoenix, Mr. Coyne was Chief Financial Officer for design/build firm Broad Rack Structures, shuttling between Detroit, London and Irapuato, Mexico. From 1987-97, he worked with Rapistan DEMAG Corp., rising to Group Manager of Integration Programs with top-level responsibility for concepting, estimating, project management, engineering and construction site management.
