Diamond Phoenix Expands Dealer Sales Team

LEWISTON, MAINE -- FEBRUARY 20, 2007 – Diamond Phoenix is pleased to announce that Rick Havener and Erik Spurling have joined its Dealer Sales team as Business Development Managers. Their addition is part of the company’s continual effort to grow and develop its nationwide dealer network.

Mr. Havener oversees the company’s dealer network in the eastern region of the United States and Canada, while Mr. Spurling handles the midwest. Each is responsible for the recruitment, training and development of dealers in his territory.

Mr. Havener has 10 years of previous sales experience at Diamond Machine (now Diamond Phoenix) and 10 years in the wood working machinery industry as sales manager for Auburn Machinery, Inc. Most recently, as Sales Manager for the Flooring Division of Kennebec Lumber Company, he was responsible for sales, the development of the marketing program, and the growth and support of a dealer network. Mr. Havener will be working from Diamond Phoenix’s headquarters in Lewiston, Maine.

Mr. Spurling has almost 20 years of experience in the material handling industry. His focus has been on growing and developing a national dealer network, forming long standing relationships with dealers throughout the country. Prior to joining Diamond Phoenix, he served as Sales Manager at Material Handling Services. Mr. Spurling will be based out of Illinois.
