Hat World Increases Throughput by 750%

LEWISTON, MAINE, DECEMBER 11, 2008 – Hat World, a specialty retail leader of officially licensed and branded headwear, recently appeared on the cover of the November issue of Modern Materials Handling. Diamond Phoenix implemented the material handling equipment which increased throughput by more than 750% while improving order accuracy from 99.5% to 99.9%. The improvements were made without additional workers. Hat World operates stores across North America and is headquartered in Indianapolis.
