full case picking
The full case picking solutions are designed for the automated creation of mixed pallets
From automation-assisted man-to-goods operations, to fully-automated mixed-pallet building through highly efficient and ergonomic goods-to-man processes, System Logistics full case picking solutions are scalable and expandable and can fit to the right level of automation required according to mixed codes and orders’ profiles, delivery drop-sizes, work-labour costs and profitability.
The System Logistics full case picking solutions include:
MOPS (MODULAR ORDER PICKING SYSTEM)
MOPS is a completely automated solution for the management of the overall order picking and distribution process, both for case picking and for the automated preparation of pallets with mixed codes. This adaptable and flexible solution is a new benchmark in the preparation of mixed pallets, and is ideal for the management of a moderate number of codes, but with a high volume of orders.
MOPS™ is implemented in modules so that the final solution is customized to meet the specific requirements of the customer.
APPS (AUTOMATIC PICK TO PALLET SYSTEM)
APPS (Automatically Pick to Pallet System) is the ideal solution for the automation of picking processes characterized by a reduced number of SKUs and a high number of orders.
APPS uses a pallet feeding system (FRS - Fast Rotation Storage) and a robotized handling/manipulation system able to take individual cartons, loads, cases, etc. from pallets and place them to form mixed pallets.
SPL (STEADY PICKING LOCATION)
In the SPL (Steady Picking Location) goods-to-man system the pallets stored in the warehouse or in temporary areas are rapidly and sequentially routed and sorted within the various picking stations. Here, the operator prepares the customer pallet and redirects it to the warehouse to await shipment.
PPS (PICK-TO-PALLET SYSTEM)
The PPS (Pick-to-Pallet-System) brings together the advantages of the man-to-goods principle and the goods-to-man principle: the operator takes the picking packages directly from the pallets stored in static positions and/or picking bays, preparing the customer pallet on its transpallet.
ARP (AUTOMATICALLY REFILLED PICKING)
The ARP (Automatically Refilled Picking) solution, based on the traditional man-to-goods concept, automates the refilling process through stacker cranes, handling and transport systems, and AGVs.
