In 1976 SYSTEM CMA was founded, dedicated to the production of automated systems for the material handling.

 In 1987 SYSTEM LOGISTICS was born, a company of the System Group; at the same time the first MODULA automated vertical storage was introduced on the market.

In 2008, following an impressive company growth, SYSTEM LOGISTICS became “S.p.A.” – an independent corporation within the System Group.

In 2009 SYSTEM LOGISTICS acquired DIAMOND PHOENIX Corporation, an American leading provider of automated picking, sorting and warehousing systems for more than 60 years.

In 2015 the two business units “SYSTEMS” and “MODULA”, who were joined within the unique society System Logistics Spa, become two separate joint stock companies.

In 2016 SYSTEM SPA sold a participation of 60% of the shares of System Logistics SpA to the international Group Krones headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany.
