SUCCESSFUL TESTING FOR SPAL AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEM

Testing of the plant built for SPAL Automotive, a leading company in the automotive sector based in the province of Reggio Emilia, with 8 branches all over the world, has been successfully completed.

This is the second plant developed by System Logistics in the last three years: a choice that demonstrates how a partnership founded on reliability and trust sets the basis for a relationship that lasts over time.

As a result of the growing market demand, Spal has built a new plant that houses the logistics and goods shipment areas, with a new warehouse that is 4 times larger than the previous one.

The goods logistics area consists of an automatic warehouse for pallet storage, that has been entirely designed, manufactured and installed by System Logistics. The area is equipped with 6 stacker cranes, 24 metre high, (4 double-depth and 2 single-depth ones) and as many aisles, 125 metre long, 4 pallet input and output areas and 11 SVL shuttles. The components required for assembly, stored inside the HBWH, are transported to the production area, the finished product is then returned to the warehouse and sent to one of the 4 shipping bays.

The warehouse is connected with the production facilities, optimizing space and time and assuring unique reliability.

This is a real success if we consider the particular time during which the two companies found themselves carrying out the final tests, working under conditions that dramatically differ from the usual ones. Nevertheless, the outcome of the test was successful and satisfactory for both parties.

All this confirms that System Logistics is not stopping, it rather goes forward with its customers, continuing to offer its solutions in response to intralogistics needs.
