SUCCESSFUL FINAL TEST FOR HANWHA LASER GUIDED VEHICLES

SUCCESSFUL FINAL TEST FOR HANWHA LASER GUIDED VEHICLES

Hanwha Corporation recently closed a deal to build a logistics automation system for Nexen Tire in the Czech Republic, where System Logistics supplied a huge number of Automated Guided Vehicles. The 3 supplied models, in fact, reach in total the quantity of 36.

The 28 Fork quad vehicles are composed of 4 directions and retractile forks, and they are used to handle a high number and variety of loading units. They pick raw and semi-finished materials and transfer them from the warehouse to the tires production lines.

Thanks to the reduced needed maneuver space of fork quad vehicles, the customer could fix the manufacturing lines close to each other, optimizing space and footprint within the production area.

2 CP MAXI and 2 CP MAXI Light and 4 CP MINI vehicles are capable of storing items at different heights, so they transfer semi-finished materials from process line to warehouse and to other areas.

The vehicles operate on two levels, though all of them are integrated and handled through the same control software system.

Therefore, we can say that Hanwha (Korean Company) has chosen SL as Agv supplier for one of the biggest Tire Factory build so far in Europe.
