SYSTEM LOGISTICS BECOMES PART OF KRONES GROUP
System SpA, the international Group and worldwide leader in the ceramic industry automation and in the sectors of packaging, logistics, intra-logistics and electronics has sold a participation of 60% of the shares of System Logistics SpA to the international Group Krones headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany.
This operation represents for System Logistics a relevant and strategic achievement in order to implement the presence of the company into worldwide markets of food & beverage, in which Krones plays a leading role.
The technology, the know-how and the human heritage that has been developed by System Logistics over the years become part of the German Group with the aim to further develop the intra-logistics and material handling segment at high performance. The headquarters and the production facilities will remain in Italy, and mainly in Fiorano Modenese to demonstrate the excellence System Group has built on the Italian territory. Krones has focused its interest on System Logistics for the added value of highly skilled human heritage. In fact, they have created some of the biggest automated plants for intra-logistics for the beverage industry.
