SYSTEM LOGISTICS IS NOW PARTNER FOR RIVOIRA FOR A NEW AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSE FOR APPLES

Rivoira Giovanni & Figli Spa, an Italian apples producer since 1950, has awarded System Logistics for the automation of its temperature and humidity controlled HBWH.

Aim of the project is the realization of a warehousing system for bins and finished products at Verzuolo (CN) plant. The system is made of 2 automatic warehouses (semi-finished and finished product) located one near the other, and it will allow apples warehousing during the main productive processes.

The warehouse will be composed of 6 stacker cranes, a self-standing rack, 3 linear shuttles and 4 AGV vehicles serving the calibration process, for a total storage capacity of 7.700 pallet locations and 800 pallet/day OUT (shipment).
