An evolution of the ARP™, the Pick-to-Pallet System™ (PPS™) offers the benefits of a flexible, high intensity order picking system without requiring an automated storage and retrieval system.

This picking system brings together the advantages of both man-to-goods and goods-to-man systems. Directed by the warehouse management system through RF picking technology, the operator arranges a customer’s pallet by picking goods directly from pallets stored in static locations or order picking stations. Pallets of medium and low rotation SKUs are quickly replaced by stacker cranes, pallet handling systems or laser guided vehicles.

The PPS™order picking system reduces labor costs 25-30% and recovers a significant amount of floor space. It’s ideal in applications in which the number of SKUs and orders processed is medium to high and/or changes over time, and where picking is particularly split (10-12 items per line order or less). The system can be automated depending on the number of SKUs handled and the frequency of use.
