SYSTEM LOGISTICS TO PROVIDE AN AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSE FOR FROZEN FOOD FOR KFM

System Logistics is realizing a new Automatic Storage System for the Food Industry for KFM (Kawan Food Manufacturing) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The customer is a leading manufacturer of ready to eat products in Asia, with activity in Malaysia (main market), Thailand, Indonesia and China (where they have a production site).

The AS/RS is a  Frozen Food type: ready-to-eat  products are kept stored at the temperature of - 21 C.

The System consists of 2 multi-depth stacker cranes, with a total storage capacity of 12,576 Unit Load.

Picking activity through a dedicated bay is also foreseen .
